Review:Yes this does offer great sun protection. However, the texture and spreadability (is that a word?) is essentially like Elmer’s glue. It does not spread easily and is super thick. It also leaves a definite white cast (like most mineral sunscreens) but also transfers onto dark colored things (bathing suit, leather interior of vehicle). Definitely going to try something different. Read more

Review:I got this sunscreen for daily use to, ya know, keep the wrinkles away and keep the men thinking I’m using witchcraft to maintain my youth 🧙‍♀️ Gotta keep our secrets from the church ladies. Anywho, this sunscreen was far from subtle. Firstly, it felt like I was applying GLUE, it was so thick 😱 I mean I felt BAD just rubbing it on because it was so thick and sticky it was pulling my skin in every direction. Once that nightmare was over, I had to leave for work as one does (and yes, I waited 30 min for it to absorb). When I got out of my car it looked like a straight up MURDER scene and the Pillsbury doughboy was the innocent victim! 😱 I’m talking white residue ALL OVER my black leather interior. It’s been 2 days and it’s still there! 😩 But no worries, ya girl needs to make that money 💰 So while I’m at work, I start to notice my arms and chest are slowly getting whiter and whiter as the product dried more. FRIEND... I looked like a lizard ready to shed all the 🐂💩 Literally by the end of my shift my whole body was white and everything I touched left residue. Needless to say, not very punk rock of them. Review:I purchased this Aveeno Positively Mineral sun stick together with Neutrogena Sheer zinc kids sun stick. They are both manufactured by Johnson and Johnson, and both came with the same expiry date (2021/10). They feel pretty much the same applying on the back of my hand, smooth and soft. They don't really leave a white cast. I finally made them show on my hand after 4 swipes. This is my first time getting sunscreen in stick form. I am more used to cream and liquid sunscreen, both mineral and chemical. But recently watched a few youtube videos made by different dermatologists and they all said we should apply sunscreens on eyelids and around our eyes. All my exisiting cream and liquid sunscreens sting my eyes. Too painful. So I thought I should give sun sticks a try. Hope they work out and don't sting my eyes 🤞🏻 Update (13/2/2021): After a month's daily use, they both stay very well around my eyes and don't budge. No sting-y nor watery eyes after 10 hours wear. Review:EWG give this product a 1. I was using a similar product by Aveeno that was rated a 2 but it cost twice as much and was much harder to spread around. For a zinc product this goes on quite well and doesn't give you a white mask on your face. I have had skin cancer on my face three times. Very fair skin have always worn big hats but got it anyway. I am very happy with the price, the amount, how well it works and the fact that a research testing organization says it is environmentally and humanistically safe. Or at least as safe as products such as this can be I suppose. Read more

Review:Well it says it’s for sensitive skin but it burned when I applied it. I tested this on the palm of my hand and it did burn. It was not easy to spread so I can just imagine this being tough to spread on someone’s face. It smelled a bit of sunscreen but not to bad. Overall-product returned and refund processed. Read more

Review:The lotion does not absorb in your skin at all. Leaves a white film and makes you look pale as a ghost. This was after I applied and waited 20 minutes. I returned this item, just not for me. Read more

Review:I bought this product for my trip to Florida. Knowing that I would be out on water & beach...I needed some good sunscreen for my face and body. I never had any sunburn while using Aveeno positively mineral sensitive skin sunscreen. It dries clear on the skin, is fast absorbing. this I would buy again. Read more

Review:This is one of the few SPFs that did not cause any reaction on my face; no acne, no milia bumps and no redness. It will leave you a bit ghostly and it is veeeery important to rub it between your hands and then pay it onto face. If you put it directly on, you can have a very thick lair of sunscreen that will pill up. The scent is not great, but goes away very quickly. For the price, I love it. Read more

Read more
