Review:This is a dupe. There was a sticker on the bottom that was covering that it is the bare minerals dupe “bare escentuals”. Read more

Review:I'm currently in Kuwait, where it is 121 degrees Fahrenheit and extremely windy and sunny, and this product is SAVING MY LIFE! I am super fair skinned (Irish) and the sun here is unforgiving, to say the least. This product is super light and hydrating, and also offers awesome sun protection. It is perfect for doing a "no make up" look (obvious make up in uniform is frowned up in the military) and a little bit goes a long way for color correction. The product doesn't cake up and other products I've used in this area tend to catch sand during dust storms. It is expensive for it's size, but worth every penny in my opinion. I wish I could subscribe to have this product sent to me every two months! Read more

Review:I normally don’t write Amazon reviews, but I’m pretty evangelical about this product. I’ve always had sensitive (and oily!) skin, but it’s gotten WAY worse in the past two years. I’ve had to throw away most of my makeup products and moisturizers because they were all breaking my skin out. On a desperate search for hypo-allergenic and non-comedogenic products (and for SPF that didn’t give me a rash or cystic acne), I found BareMinerals Complexion Rescue. It. Is. Glorious. It’s hydrating and gives my skin a dewy texture (but somehow, it doesn’t look oily). It also evens my skin tone without providing full coverage. I used to rely heavily on foundation, but over time, I’ve embraced my fair skin and freckles. This allows the freckles to shine through. It doesn’t have a cakey texture, and yet somehow makes my face look way healthier than it normally does. That said, if you’re looking for full coverage, you’ll have to pair this product with a regular foundation. I still pair it with sunscreen most of the time (because I’m a ginger and I keep reading that 100% mineral sunscreens aren’t as effective as their labels say). If I’m looking for fuller coverage, I wear BareMinerals powder foundation or mineral veil over it. The Complexion Rescue truly is fragrance free and hypoallergenic. Sometimes I forget to remove it before hot yoga, and this is the only skin product I own that doesn’t sting my eyes once I start to sweat. It’s brilliant. Read more

Review:I like a foundation that has minimal coverage but can be layered when needed. This is perfect for that. I don't enjoy wearing a lot of makeup so I like that I can apply a layer of this for an everyday/natural look. If I'm going out or my acne is especially bad (curse you adult acne), then I'll let the first layer dry and then apply some more. It builds quite nicely. The only thing is that you have to make sure to apply it thoroughly because it will leave lines otherwise. I rub it in, let it dry, and then set it with some loose powder. Read more

Review:I’m pretty sure this is fake or expired. Compared to new purchased at Ulta. First pic shows Ulta on top. This product came out thicker and when rubbed it had small chunks (2nd pic) granted chunks smoothed out with more rubbing buts that’s not suppose to happen. Color matched but I’m not taking chances 😔 I already have sensory skin. Buy at your own risk. Read more

Review:Love this stuff. I hate having makeup on my 65 year old face, especially in summer. I use this with a little cream blush and I've been getting so many compliments on my skin. I use vitamin C serum and hyaluronic acid serum under it instead of moisturizer because the serums aren't greasy. The Complexion Rescue had enough moisture, especially in humid climates like we have here in the South. Read more

Review:Throughout my teens and early twenties, I forwent foundation completely. I have reasonably clear skin and my main focus was caring for the health of my skin. However, beginning in my late twenties, I decided that I needed something more. I started with tinted moisturizers and step up to foundations with their promise of perfect all day skin perfection. Foundations, no matter what brand I tried (even with primers and setting spray) would leave my skin looking streaky and patchy. Applying loose powder over it, would make it cakey and settle in my pores. So I stepped back into the tinted moisturizer game. So far, this is winning. It’s important to me that it have a strong SPF. It goes on light and evenly. Though I have used a brush in the past to apply foundations, I think that this goes on best when applied with my fingertips. It goes on smooth. It is not sticky. It doesn’t make my fingers feel slimy. There is not bad smell. It is very sheer and minimally buildable. With a second application, it brightens and evens my skin tones and decreases the noticeability of a couple of dark spots. But it does not completely cover them. If you are looking for full coverage, this is not for you. It has a dewy finish which is not my favorite but I know it’s the thing right now. I just make sure to apply powder after initially using the product that then touch it up a couple times a day with a repeat powder. As for the color, I am super pale and typically order ivory in my makeups. Without a guide available, I took a chance and ordered vanilla. It works fine. Has warm yellow undertones so if your skin is more cool tones, probably try the opal shade. Mine falls somewhere in between so I think I could maybe where either. Read more

Review:I had been searching high and low for a tinted moisturizer that was a better value than my $40 Origins Vitazing. This one had pretty good reviews and was on sale, so I thought I would give it a go. Pro's Good texture Easy to apply using your fingers Light coverage (which is what I wanted) Spf 30 My skin likes it (doesn't break me out at all) Con's It was hard to pick out my shade on Amazon, I got a shade that is a tad too light for me right now but not a huge problem It's more "tinted" than I really wanted, my previous origins product is very very light (but this a personal preference) Overall, I might purchase this product again in the future, but it hasn't been able to beat my holy grail, Origins Vitazing. Read more
