Review:I’ve had the Mr Coffee coffee maker for about a month now and so far so good. Makes a good cup of coffee. Easy to use and clean. It came with a filter and brew basket. I already filter my water before using it so no need to filter again. The brew basket is convenient. The only two things I will say is that I wish the coffee was just a bit hotter and when brewing coffee make sure to add an extra half cup of water to the tank. During the brewing process, you will lose some water to evaporation. If you’re going to brew 2 cups of coffee fill the tank with 2.5 cups of water, want 3 cups fill to 3.5 cups of water. You get the picture. Also, when it’s done brewing wait about a minute or two to let all the remaining water finish dripping out. Read more

Review:Still brewing. Several small issues but still making coffee. The disk that “filters water” is useless and never used. There’s a hole on the top back to prevent overfilling; if you want to avoid a mess, don’t overfill. To get one mug of coffee it takes 3.5 ‘cups’ water on pot measure. On a positive note I make a cup at a time and it tastes fine to me, using McCafe grounds. The pot turns off automatically. The pot pauses brewing into pot when it’s removed to pour; it continues to brew and accumulates in machine so don’t leave pot out while brewing. I found that out the hard way. I haven’t used the auto timer so can’t say how that feature works. It’s hard to find an affordable small pot that’s not a single cup type and not 10/12 cup. This pot works for me just fine and is used daily. I would say $20 would be a good price but unfortunately I can’t find it cheaper than the $35 asking price on Amazon. Read more

Review:Whenever there is an upgrade to a product I tend to get judgmental about it. This is no different. This replaced a similar 5 cup pot exactly the same brand. This new one sports a timer and clock for convenience of brewing on a schedule. That is good, except now it has to always be plugged in. It comes with replaceable strainer basket and splash guard. The basket however is smaller than before and causes the filter to bunch up. The drain is relocated from the middle of the basket to the rear. Not sure what that does other than make the pour area bigger. They also relocated the hinge on the lid. It no longer opens from the front. It opens from the side. Quite inconvenient. However... What comes out (after adjustments) is a very good pot of coffee! Read more

Review:This has produced a very good tasting coffee. I was concerned ordering a different brand maker, but found this to be ultra easy to use and delivered on both! One piece that was included in the package, was something I could not identify. The instructions were of no help. No pictures or reference to this piece. So, I put it aside until one day I can figure it out! Note: This is the lightest coffee pot I have ever owned. It's all very light plastic but makes a good cup of coffee! Read more

Review:Compact, without all the unnecessary controls that make other, more expensive coffee makers such a pain to use. There is a timer if you need that, but if you keep your coffee maker unplugged when not in use (the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends unplugging electrical devices when not in use), you will have to reset the clock each time you plug it in. You do need to be sure that the filter basket is put in correctly, or it will overflow. This has never been a problem for me. Read more
