Review:Overall: Best sunscreen I’ve ever tried. Will be purchasing the larger size. Cons: - wish mdsolarsciences was more transparent about how their products’ spf ratings are tested and the PA ratings - if you are used to chemical sunscreens, the texture of this sunscreen may feel thick/strange - does cause sweat to form beads because it is water resistant (but only if sweating profusely such as at the gym where I personally don’t care what I look like) - does require the entire 15-20 minutes to dry (most likely because it does not contain harmful alcohols) Pros: - 100% mineral actives - the least noticeable cast of any water resistant mineral sunscreen I’ve ever tried (I have tan skin) - water resistant up to 80 minutes - the zinc and antioxidants are really good for sensitive skin (actually helped my irritated/red skin) - easy to apply - no fragrance or other harmful chemicals - not as cheap as drugstore sunscreens but reasonably priced - oil free Read more

Review:Before getting to the positives, I'm gonna lay out some criticisms. Maybe it's because I have dry skin, but on some days, when my skin is already dry before I put the sunscreen on it, it can be really flaky and sometimes create a dry-skin-like appearance. But, that's my issue for not using moustirizer beforehand. Also, sometimes when I'm putting it around my eye area, it sneaks into my eyes, and burns them, but it also makes my eye area itch a lot. Not all the time, so I haven't been able to figure out why it's only occasionally, but I especially have to be careful when putting it on my eyelids. Also, on a super humid day, just make sure it dries a bit before going out. Other than that, it's effective, feels nice on the skin, and comes off easily with an oil based cleanser. I recommend if you're buying SPF 50 and want a sunscreen for your face and neck, which is what I prefer to use anyways. Read more

Review:I’m very sensitive to sunscreen (hives) and typically only was able to use Vanicream. The Vanicream worked but left a white shadow and was heavy. This one applies smooth and works under makeup well. Glad the esthetician as my dermatologist office recommended it to me. Read more

Review:I really wanted to like this product based on the reviews. I currently used chemical sunscreens but wanted to try a mineral-based one. After watching tons of videos on youtube I landed on this one and also their tinted version (in dark tone which arrives Friday). Although I had high hopes… I was left feeling and looking blue. I was left with a very unflattering dull appearance. My radiance was gone. Yes, I know this has a matte finish which I actually wanted, but I looked dead. I also have a rather thick beard and the product was very visible there. I wouldn't dare wear this outside of the house. Hopefully, the tinted version is better, but I'm leery of the transfer. If all else fails, I'll stick with my chemical sunscreens. Read more

Review:After endlessly researching EWG-approved sunscreens, I decided to give this one a try. SO HAPPY I DID! I had tried Supergoop! Mineral stick prior and it had great protection but left my skin sticky, which I hate. This one goes on smoothly with no stickiness or residue. I clean my face, put moisturizer, and this cream goes on like butter with a matte finish and without irritating my sensitive, rosacea skin. Only thing you have make sure to do is REALLY RUB IT IN! It will leave a whitecast if you don't rub it in correctly. After that, you're good to go. And you can feel good you're doing what's best for your skin and the environment. :) I wish they had a HUGE bottle of this stuff! Read more

Read more

Review:Me gusta este bloqueador porque es mineral pero a diferencia de la mayoría, no deja nada de rastros blanquecinos. Hace una excelente función de primer porque deja un acabado aterciopelado si se aplica bajo el maquillaje. Read more
