Review:It's a great shooter, but the ammo is not only expensive, and there are no compatibles, but dark colored making it hard/impossible to see outside - this is repulsive for Nerf to make DRM ammo and also make them nearly impossible to find as well . My son and I do a 12 round challenge, we both have this gun and it holds 8, plus another 4 on the back end. After which we will look for our rounds and repeat till letting is left. We typically get 2 maybe 3 rounds till we are down to about 4 left out of 24 to start. That's a 20 loss per session, and it ends the session soon. 20 darts is about $10, so $10 per play, a small amount cheaper buying the 75 pack. So I've gotten a mod kit for one of Nerf's other guns (Elite Disrupter), and was able to boost that to this level of performance (actually slightly more), darts are dirt cheap and brightly colored. The gun plus the mod kit is way cheaper, and in the long run we can have longer sessions and a lot more fun. And Nerf that's what it's about, FUN , something you seemed to forget in your chase of the almighty dollar. This DRM gun, and high price of ammo, put unnecessary and artificial limits on that. Shame on you. (PS in the reviews it's asking me to rate Accuracy (5 star, the gun is very accurate for a dart gun, and the description is OK too), Giftable (I gave it 2 star, It's a lousy gift as it will cost the owner lots for ammo, I didn't give it one star because it's a good gift to give someone you really don't like), suction power (I don't know why that is here but I gave it 5 stars for that because it really sucks what Nerf has done here. Review:It lets me be a kid again! Lol. I’m in Canyon Lake, Texas, where you can feed them by hand. If they try to bust into my fenced off trees, they get Nerfed! I didn’t want to use batteries so this ended up being fine for the random times I use it. I do wish the darts were all orange. It’s almost as if they want us to lose them and reorder more? Lol. Review:My 12 year old grandson got his finger caught while loading the bullets. The screw was stripped while trying to open it and his parents had to smash it with a hammer to get his hand free. The gun was ruined obviously, just one week after getting it from us as a gift. Total waste of our money and a disappointment for him, not to mention an injured finger. Read more

Review:We gave these to our grandsons on Christmas Eve while they were over. They are safe enough, but we had them play outside. It was windy, and these darts can really fly. We had at least 2 land on our roof and one on a neighbor's roof. Kids had a blast. Be sure you buy extra darts. Read more

Review:Ordered for Christmas and the gun is great, it got here on time. But when I got it out of the shipping box I noticed that the manufactured box had been opened. Sooooo that seemed fishy to me. After further inspection I found that it only has 1 bullet. Which if this took normal Nerf bullets no big deal. My son has hundreds of those. But this takes special "ultra" bullets. So now he can't play with it on Christmas. I hate to send it back and get another over 8 bullets . I'm just going to order some and hope they get here in time. Read more

Review:The Ultra Three is a perfectly fine blaster, shoots hard (100 - 110 FPS), uses Ultra darts (which are overpriced and break easily), and has nothing wrong with it. Please look up videos about this blaster for a more in-depth review. However, my issue is with the packaging. Usually, there are 8 darts included along with the instructions, however, my blaster came with package opened and sloppily taped up, with no trace of darts or instructions. I am confused with this, but it is not a huge deal for me. Overall, good blaster, terrible darts, subpar packaging. Read more

Review:This is a great blaster. It’s the first Ultra series blaster I got and loved it so much I got a second one for battles in the house and got some spare darts in another order. It’s big, intimidating and packs a punch, but it’s still just a foam dart so perfectly safe! Even at near point blank it won’t bruise but pinches just enough that you try not to get hit. It has great range and velocity and is very well built. The magazine has a window so you can keep an eye on ammo. Pump action is sturdy. If you are looking to step up the game with a more significant blaster this could be a good addition to your arsenal! Read more

Review:This is fun, but be aware that it is not very accurate, darts go all over the place. Most importantly, understand that "ultra" darts are only available from Nerf - you can not buy inexpensive no-name brand darts. And you'll need them - the included darks are about 90% black, and SUPER easy to loose. I didn't realize how expensive additional darts would be. I would return this, but I've already lost two darts. Review:The actual toy is fine, my kids and nieces/nephews love nerf; however the first delivery was “lost”, replacement came in on time with a fine outer Amazon box, but the actual toy packaging inside the box was mangled.
