Review:I was originally going to get the JW Speaker lights but the price was just too high for me ($700 for a pair) so after looking at the alternatives, I decided on these. I must say, I'm very impressed! Pros: -Looks: these lights look slick. The blacked out housing really makes a statement compared to the highly reflective silver of the stock lights. -Price: literally a bargain compared to 99% of the other options out there -Brightness: these are extremely bright lights, unless you are on completely unlit back roads you probably won't need to use your high beams -Ease of Instillation: very easy to install, they did require a bit of modification on the passenger side but more on that later. -Built in anti-flicker resistor: unlike 99% of the other cheaper LED's on the market, there's no bulky anti-flicker harness you have to cram behind the light. -Decent quality adapter: I know some of the other reviews mention that the plug adapter wouldn't work properly but I had no issues with mine. It clicked into the OEM plug with no drama, I did wrap the connections with electrical tape just to be cautious but it isn't necessary. -Heavy, well built housing: I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the heat sink/housing on this light. It's cast aluminum with a black powder coat finish. I couldn't find any noticeable defects or flaws. -Well sealed: I installed these right before we had literally 3 straight weeks of rain and thunderstorms. My jeep sits in my driveway with no protection from the elements, and was also driven heavily during this time. No condensation or water inside the lens. Cons: -The passenger side light did require a bit of grinding to fit in my '18 JK sport, literally took a total of about 10 mins to grind down a few of the cooling fins and spray it with some spray paint to cover the exposed metal. If you dont have access to tools, I could see this being a bigger issue. - The lenses are made of polycarbonate, and as such will scratch easier than the OEM lights. Just something to keep in mind if you're going to be going on overgrown trails. And a quick public service announcement: TAKE SOME TIME AND PROPERLY AIM YOUR HEADLIGHTS AFTER INSTILLATION!!! I think LED/HID lights have recieved an unfair bad reputation for being 'blindingly bright' because numbskulls think that as long as their factory lights were aimed properly, there's no need to aim the new lights... WRONG! I spent about 20 mins to get them aimed and dispite them being extremely bright, I haven't been flashed once by oncoming traffic since I installed them. There's plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to do it, PLEASE do everyone a favor and spend the extra 15-20 mins to make sure you're lights are aimed properly. I'd highly recommend these lights to anyone not looking to spend a fortune on headlights for their jeep. These are a great value and seem to be solidly built. I'll update this review should anything happen down the road to these lights. Read more

Review:2018 jku. Facts: factory lights suck, most Chinese LEDs flicker. I have mixed feelings, but mostly I walk away feeling content. The weight of the compared to stock is at least double. The lighting elements are uniform and solid. They don't flicker and project well on high and lo beans. The housings are heavy duty but are low quality Chinese machining, and it is obvious. Do not expect the ballasts to fit snugly in the OEM mounting rings, they dont. It takes some positioning. The adapter cables are the weak link, push them together and there is no positive feedback type click, only 1-2mm of exposed connection after they are seated. Be prepared to bust out the electrical tape to seal them up. They also came aimed very high from the manufacturer so be prepared to adjust. You could do much worse buying blind on here. I'm not a fan of rice mods and these are just value head lamps in my book. Time will tell. These are worthwhile if your wife won't approve the $600 for JWs. I'm content... for now. Read more

Review:I held off on upgrading to LED for a long time because of the $400 price range. I read a review about these on Jeep Forum and thought for $91 how could I go wrong. First, if you can operate a screwdriver you can do this install. Seriously an 8yr old could do this. (for this year TJ mind you, YMMV). Everything was plug and play, 3 screws for the cover, 4 for the headlight ring, pull, plug, re-screw, done. Budget 15min of your day for this project. Now, I have not used any other LED products for headlights so these are the first, so I can't compare them to anything but the inadequate joke of the stock headlights. But they are bright, super bright, and the price was right. Highly recommend this upgrade. Read more

Review:First off, I read reviews on this product and they appeared to be quite solid. There were a few warnings about the passenger side having difficulty mounting and also some fogging warnings. I addressed both issues. Ran a bead of silicone on edge of lens to avoid moisture problems. Had to file down receiver mounts on passenger side. (slightly to thick) I have a 2018 Jeep Willies (Wrangler. These lights do indeed throw a lot of light. Make sure you adjust them down a bit or you will have issues with other drivers. I really like to smoked lens on these. Someone stated that they were worried about the lens scratching and I am not worried about this. Seams to be the same material that was used on the originals. Make sure you tape up the connections well. They fit quite will but just a precaution. Last note, this is to the supplier - If you would like someone to test and report on LED tail lights units for this jeep, you are more than welcome to send me a pair...... I will gladly be a tester! Follow up - I just included a picture of the back of the lamp and put arrows on the area's that need to be filed down a bit to install on passenger side. A simple flat file will do. You really don't need a "grinder" or power tool. A file works fine and you really don't need to remove all that much. Cheers Read more

Review:Very happy with these headlights. No problem to install and adjust. I kept them on day and night to make sure they didn't burn out, now three months later they still work great. Much better than stock too. I gave them 4 stars because they are not as even as more expensive versions, not bad, but you can tell the light band has spots that are brighter. Still, well worth the price and not having to pay several hundred for the "brand" version. Edit - I upped from 4 to 5 stars because I got a chance to compare to expensive competitors and they don't project a perfectly even light pattern either. So these match up at a much better price point. Read more

Review:Bought these for my wife's 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Installation was simple (according to my mechanic friend). Overall beam quality is whiter, brighter, and better than the OEM lights. So deciding on this affordable upgrade is a no-brainer. Where we live, vehicles are required to have DRL. So fyi, the DRL mode for these lights is in fact, the High Beam mode! During the day that's fine - you're basically driving around with your high beams on. But at night, we have to turn-on the headlights so the high beam mode turns off. Yes you can still access high beam like normal when needed. But the DRL mode defaults to the high beam mode. Read more
